Polishing is one of our specialties. When you take the time to produce a high quality metal casting, you don't want to skimp on the finishing. Karoway understands this and can provide polishing services specifically suited to your needs.

The automated polishing process ensures quality results. In the polishing operation, the pieces are laid onto a wooden form, which is specifically made for this particular item. The form is then placed under the wheel of our automatic polishing machine. They are polished by a large set of wheels which has polishing compound applied to it. When the pieces have been polished enough, they are then removed from the form and placed in a special screen which is then sent to the degreasing department.

Hand polishing is also available for items that require special attention.

A satin finish can be obtained by applying special compound to the polishing wheel to give your items a matte finish. It is not uncommon for customers to have items antiqued and then sections of the antiquing satined off for a contrasted look.
